Abstracts and Symposia
We encourage conference participants to submit abstracts and symposium proposals. Your contributions are essential for highlighting new research findings, clinical experiences, and professional development in the field of delirium – and to help us create an excellent conference!
All submissions will be handled confidentially and evaluated by the committee.
Symposia
Symposia must be submitted as a single proposal. Each symposium should include 3-4 speakers and 2 chairs, take gender balance into consideration, and have a total duration of 75 minutes, including time for discussion.
Symposium submission deadline is 1 June 2026 (23:59 CET).

Symposium requirements (as specified in the online form):
- Symposium title
- Symposium abstract (maximum 150 words)
- Title of each lecture
- Names and affiliations of all speakers
- Abstract for lecture 1 to 4 (maximum 250 words per abstract)
- Learning Objectives: the submission should include two to three learning objectives, each one not exceeding 50 words per statement
Abstracts
We encourage the submission of original research for oral presentations and posters. At least one author of each accepted abstract is required to register for the conference and pay the registration fee.
