Ekaterina Zotcheva har master i psykologi og Ph.d. i medisin, begge fra NTNU. Forskningsinteresser er risikofaktorer for demens og kognitiv svikt, der tidligere arbeid har fokusert på fysisk aktivitet samt arbeids- og familieforhold og hvordan disse faktorene påvirker risikoen for demens og kognitiv svikt i senere alder.
